Gabrielle Milot-Lavergne M. Sc. PT, Vestibular Rehab, TMJ Rehab, Sports First Responder
Gabrielle graduated with a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in physiotherapy from Université Laval in Quebec City. She started her career working in her father’s clinic, himself a Sports Physiotherapist, where she worked for four years treating a wide range of clientele, following multiple sports teams and covering many different sporting events.
She has a strong interest in head and neck dysfunctions and is qualified in treating vestibular and temporo-mandibular dysfunctions. Her course in Cranial Manual Therapy makes her specialized in treating concussions, headaches, dizziness, head and neck pain. She believes that listening to the person you are treating is the key to finding the source of the problem and to providing an effective treatment.
Gabrielle is now completing her manual therapy levels through the Orthopeadic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and in the coming year she will become a K-Taping Academy instructor. In the longer future, her goal is to share her knowledge with students and colleagues.
The love of the mountains and outdoor activities has brought Gabrielle to the Okanagan. Her real passion is to ski and she is a qualified Alpine ski instructor with 5 years of experience working in resorts in both the West and East of Canada. In her spare time you will find her with her husband and dog by the side of the lakes, hiking, camping or trail running. Gabrielle loves to travel and is excited to experience many new adventures in British Columbia!
