Ashley Varty is a Registered Massage Therapist originally from the small town of Smithers BC who began her training in Vancouver at West Coast College of Massage Therapy and completed the 3000hr program at Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy. She personalizes each treatment to what is beneficial to her patients using a variety of manual techniques. Ashley has a general practice but particularly loves to focus in maternity and postpartum care as well as sport injuries. When out of the office she currently serves as the Canadian Sport Massage Therapy Association’s BC Chapter’s Secretary working on many initiatives to help further Massage in the sport world as well currently sits on Ashton College’s Registered Massage Therapy Diploma Program Advisory Committee.
Ashley’s plans for the future are to further her education by pursuing her National Sports Certification, her Bachelor of Health Science, and take continuing education courses focusing in but not limited to muscle energy, visceral and neural manipulation. Ashley enjoys skiing, hiking, weight lifting, and being near the beach but If you were to ask her however, her biggest passions are spending time with her husband and her family.
