Treatment begins with a thorough assessment, seeking to find the root cause of a muskuloskeletal/ pain problem. She uses tools such as soft tissue release, joint mobilization, postural re-education and specific exercise. When pain and swelling prevent normal movement and function, she finds
acupuncture and modalities helpful. Brenda’s goal is to involve the client in self-management techniques and promote an active approach to healing wherever possible.
When she’s not working, Brenda enjoys paddle boarding, cycling and hiking in summer. She loves alpine and cross country skiing and Latin dancing in the winter months. Brenda enjoys trips back to Vancouver Island to go kayaking and sailing. She loves to meet new people and travel.
