Jordan is proud to call the Downtown location of Sun City Physiotherapy his new clinical home and is eager to begin practicing in the beautiful Okanagan! Jordan has been working in a multidisciplinary setting in the field of Orthopaedic Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in Saskatchewan since convocating with his degree in Physical Therapy with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan in 2007.
With a strong commitment to professional education and clinical development, in 2014, Jordan completed his Advanced Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Physical Therapy through the Canadian Orthopaedic Division earning himself status as a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapists (FCAMPT). Furthermore, Jordan is credentialed in the use of Gunn Dry Needling Intramuscular Stimulation (CGIMS) earning this certification through the University of British Columbia. Jordan is also a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
Jordan’s treatment approach utilizes manual therapy in the form of mobilization or manipulation of the spine and peripheral joints to maximize joint biomechanics, Intramuscular Stimulation Needling when appropriate, a significant emphasis on strength training as well as individualized education to assist patients in achieving their athletic or functional goals.
When away from the clinic, Jordan enjoys playing golf, tennis, volleyball and hockey, travelling the world with his young family and of course jamming a tune or two on one of his favorite guitars. Jordan, his wife and one year old little boy are more than thrilled to have made the move West to call the Okanagan their new home!
