Jordan graduated from the University of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia, with a Bachelors degree in Sport & Exercise Science. Following this, he completed his Masters in Physiotherapy Studies at the University of Queensland in 2012. During (after after) his studies he worked extensively with elite rugby union teams and it is here he developed a passion for strength & conditioning that still forms a significant part of his clinical practice today.
Jordan has worked in sports & musculoskeletal private practices on the Sunshine Coast, Australia as well as in Edmonton, Alberta. It was while living in Edmonton in 2015, that he and his partner discovered their love for the Okanagan, and it seemed inevitable they would eventually end up living in this amazing location.
Since graduating, he has undertaken postgraduate training in dry needling(IMS)/western acupuncture, clinical pilates, and further training in assessment/treatment of shoulder conditions, neck pain, headache and migraine conditions. In Edmonton, he had the opportunity to do extensive work with younger athletes, particularly focused on knee rehabilitation following ACL surgical repair, as well as undertake further training on physiotherapy management for power lifting and other lifting athletes.
Jordan likes to combine thorough patient education with specific exercise prescription, manual therapy and needling to help his patients get back to doing what they love. He is looking forward to undertaking further postgraduate training here in Canada.
Being from the Sunshine Coast, he spent the majority of his youth in or around the ocean. He played competitive soccer from the age of 5 till his early 20’s and competed at a state and national level in sprinting and triple jump. Since arriving in Canada, snowboarding has provided an excellent substitution for the lack of surfing. Jordan also has a passion for photography and watching Liverpool Football Club play.
