Robina Palmer B.Sc.PT, CAFCI, Vestibular Therapist
Robina Palmer is a registered Physiotherapist and co-owner of Sun City Physiotherapy.
Robina is a graduate of University of British Columbia’s School of Rehabilitation Medicine. She has practiced in sports and orthopaedic rehabilitation in various clinical settings throughout the United States and Canada. Robina is one of only a few therapists in the Okanagan who has advanced training in vestibular rehabilitation (the treatment of vertigo, dizziness and balance disorders). She is also certified to practice acupuncture which she often incorporates into her treatment of sports and orthopaedic injuries and conditions.
While practicing in the United States, Robina worked with the Men’s New Orleans Storm Soccer Team, and upon retuning to Canada in 2000, she was a member of the Physiotherapy team for the Penticton Men’s Soccer team; and both the Vernon and BC freestyle ski team performing assessments and developing individualized training programs for the skiers. She currently continues to lecture regularly to businesses and organizations on ergonomics, back care, Vestibular disorders, and injury prevention.
In her free time, Robina is usually skiing, mountain biking, hiking, on a backcountry adventure, or shoe shopping.
