Lower Mission

Jinelle is a paediatric physiotherapist with experiences as a student in BC Children’s Hospital (BCCH) and her career in private sport clinics. She treats all kids from 0 to 18 years old for musculoskeletal orthopaedic injuries and conditions. Some of these may include infant gross motor delay, torticollis, plagiocephaly, leg length discrepancy, growing pains (Osgood’s and Sever’s Disease), sport injuries (muscle strains, sprains, and dislocations), fractures, scoliosis, and concussions. Her practice focuses on a thorough history and assessment followed with a treatment plan that is clear, fun, and effective! Coming from an athletic background, Jinelle is able to reach from her injury experiences as a child and relate to return to sport pressures and further translate that to successful outcomes. She is an effective communicator who liaises with doctors in the community, and as well as BCCH physiotherapists when necessary to provide the best care for her patients.

Jinelle also treats adults who need help with “prehab” or the prevention of injury as well as return to sport or activities using manual therapy, dry needling, and exercises.

Jinelle has a Bachelor of Kinesiology and Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. She continues to stay up to date with evidence based practices through continuing education courses. These include Orthopaedic Division Level 1 and 2 Manual Therapy courses, Kinetacore Dry Needling Level 1 and 2, and Loaded Manual Therapy Exercise courses.

Jinelle can often be found on the trails with her goldendoodle Roxy, eating ice cream, playing pickleball, basketball, and even golf!
